2-year and 4-year warranty

Rocean, SAS warrants to the original purchaser that the products and parts are free from defects in material and workmanship.
Your Rocean is made up of a composite hull and systems:

    1. Hull Structure ( 4 years) - Your Rocean is warranted against water loss due to composite hull defects, cracks, or delamination of the interior hull surface due to defects in workmanship or materials for two years from the original date of purchase.
    2. Systems (2 years) electronic, electrical, plumbing, thermodynamic components - are guaranteed against malfunctions due to defects in workmanship or materials for two years from the original date of purchase.

We offer a warranty on all cold tubs purchased from us. This warranty applies only to private use; for professional or commercial use, the warranty is 1 year. Contact us for an extended warranty for professional use. For professional rentals, the warranty applies for the entire rental period, except in the event of reckless or deliberate action by you or your clients, in which case Rocean reserves the right to claim against your professional liability insurance.

This warranty is void if Rocean or its designated representative determines that the spa has been damaged or failed due to the installation of replacement parts that are not genuine Rocean brand parts & accessories. This disclaimer includes, but is not limited to, filters, ozone systems, valves, hoses, repair parts, and other accessories. Genuine Rocean brand parts and accessories are manufactured to our highest standards for quality, durability, and performance, and are designed to work with your Rocean to ensure optimal performance and functionality.

WHAT WE WILL DO

At its discretion, Rocean will provide free repair or replacement of any defective product or component that has been installed, operated and maintained normally, within the specified warranty period. In the event that repair or replacement of a part is not feasible, Rocean may choose to provide a replacement Rocean bath, which will be of equal value to the original Rocean.

Please note that replacement parts may not be identical to the original parts and their availability is subject to change. Warranty work may be performed by an authorized service technician hired by us (electronics or cooling system technicians). We will not reimburse repair costs if a repair is carried out by you, someone else, or by a (local) service provider not directly appointed by us. You therefore explicitly waive our warranty if you carry out repairs yourself (during the warranty period) and/or hire someone to carry out repairs unless we approve the repair and you provide us with a written quote before the repair work begins. Work carried out without Rocean's approval is not covered.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

To make a warranty claim for a product, you can contact us within 14 days of discovering the defect by mail or online. Please be sure to include your order number and purchase date when contacting us:


The warranty covers the following specified main components:

  • Composite hull made of gelcoat, fiberglass and resin
  • Compressors, condenser and heating
  • Fans
  • Main electronic cards
  • Insulation blanket
  • Temperature sensors
  • Vacuum pump
  • Control panel
  • Underwater light and switch
  • Valves and pipes

        Individual warranty on replaced parts:

        When (defective) parts are replaced with new ones, the new part will have a separate two-year warranty from the date of replacement. This does not mean that the original standard warranty will be reinstated. The remaining period of the original warranty remains valid even after any repair or replacement carried out under this standard warranty.

        The warranty does not apply in the event of :

        • Damage caused by improper use or maintenance of the Rocean cold bath.
        • Damage caused by the use of products dangerous to Rocean bath materials such as acetone, or similar.
        • Damage caused by moving or transporting the Rocean (by yourself), unless we, "Rocean", move or transport the Rocean.
        • If you leave the Rocean cold tub outside in freezing temperatures without running the pump in "hot" mode.
        • Damage caused by the introduction of products such as glasses or toys into the Rocean.
        • If there is or was anything other than water in the Rocean bath.
        • Damage caused by negligence;
        • Loss caused by fire, flood, theft, pests or insects.
        • Damage caused by improper installation, use, maintenance or operation of the product.
        • Use deemed inappropriate and contrary to common sense and not declined here.
