Who are the baths for

Who are Rocean baths for?

Villa and residence owners, private individuals fitting out a terrace or interior, private yachts, and professional projects.

Are Rocean baths suitable for daily use in a private residence?

Yes. The system is designed for autonomous daily operation with minimal maintenance for the user.

Can a Rocean bath be installed on a private yacht?

Yes. The composite construction and compact system layout suit the constraints of a private vessel.

Home installation

What is the difference between integrated and remote configurations for a residential installation?

The integrated system houses the thermal unit inside the bath, without a separate technical room — suitable for most residences. The remote system separates the unit for easier access and more power, useful when space or usage justifies it.

Do I need a technical room to install my bath?

Not necessarily. The integrated configuration works without a dedicated technical room, provided sufficient space for the connections.

Does the bath work on a standard domestic electrical installation?

Yes, the integrated system is designed for a standard domestic electrical supply. Exact requirements are confirmed during the project review.

Can the bath be recessed into a terrace or existing floor?

Yes, recessing is possible depending on the bath configuration and the receiving structure — a point reviewed with your project team before manufacture.

Performance

What temperature can the bath reach?

Cold circuits typically hold from 19°C down to 3°C, hot circuits from 20°C to 40°C. The integrated system delivers 1.5 kW.

What are Rocean baths made of?

The shells use a marine composite construction designed for a long service life in demanding wet environments.

What is the noise level of the bath at home?

The unit is sized to remain discreet, compatible with installation close to living areas.

What power consumption should I expect for domestic use?

Consumption depends on the target temperature and frequency of use; it remains consistent with daily residential use. The detail is calculated during the project review.

Water treatment

How is the water treated on a daily basis?

Automated multi-stage filtration and UV treatment, for clear water with minimal maintenance.

Do I need to add chemicals myself?

No, pH and sanitation management is automated. Occasional checks are still recommended.

How often does the water need to be changed?

Renewal depends on usage and remains limited thanks to automated treatment; precise guidelines are provided at commissioning.

Maintenance

Which tasks are automatic and which remain manual?

Filtration, water treatment, and temperature regulation are automated. Filter cleaning remains an occasional manual task.

How often do filters need to be changed?

Frequency depends on usage; a guideline is provided at commissioning and can be adjusted based on actual use.

Does the bath need to be drained regularly?

A full drain is not required at a fixed frequency: automated treatment maintains water quality between infrequent drains.

What should I do during an extended absence?

The system can be put into standby; restart parameters are explained at commissioning.

Customisation

Can the bath be customised?

Yes: colour, finishes, logo, integration, and certain technical elements can be adapted to the project.

What is the difference between a private and professional installation?

A private installation tolerates more manual interventions; a professional installation must be more stable, more automated, and suited to high user turnover.

Can I choose the dimensions of the bath?

Dimensions can be adapted within certain technical limits, to be confirmed with the project team based on available space.

For which establishments & use

Who are Rocean baths for?

Luxury residences, hotels and spas, performance-focused operators, professional facilities and studios, and wellness programmes aboard superyachts.

Is Rocean suitable for luxury hotel spas?

Yes. Rocean contrast systems are specified for premium hotels, boutique hotels, destination spas, and performance-focused wellness programmes — environments where thermal contrast, continuous availability, and a discreet operational footprint matter.

What is the difference between a contrast bath and a cold plunge only?

A contrast bath supports structured hot-cold protocols; a cold-only experience focuses on cold immersion. The same platform can be specified for either, or both, depending on how sessions are operated.

Is Rocean suitable for superyacht spas?

Yes. Compact system layout and robust composite construction: relevant when footprint, weight, and reliability are critical.

Do you operate internationally?

Yes. Specification, commissioning, and remote supervision according to the contract, on projects across multiple countries.

Installation & integration

Can I install a professional cold plunge without a technical room?

Yes, if the configuration is integrated and space allows for the necessary equipment. For intensive use, a technical room is preferable.

What does 'commercial grade' mean for a spa or facility?

Sizing filtration and renewal to actual bather load, automating sanitation rather than managing chemistry by hand, maintaining stable temperature with short recovery times between sessions, and separating the guest experience from the technical area so maintenance can proceed without interrupting the circuit.

What should a spa or club plan for before installing a cold plunge?

Five points: sustained performance under continuous load, filtration and sanitation sized to actual throughput, thermal stability and recovery between sessions, architectural integration and finish, and a service relationship that holds when throughput increases.

Cold/hot performance

What temperature range do Rocean systems maintain?

Designed as dedicated cold or hot systems. Cold circuits typically hold from 19°C down to 3°C, hot circuits from 20°C to 40°C. The integrated system delivers 1.5 kW; remote configurations reach 4 kW or more depending on specification.

Why does daily throughput change the specification?

A few immersions per day do not stress the water or the unit like a queue of dozens of sessions. Under-sizing filtration or cooling leads to cloudy water, slow recovery, and a compliance risk. Specification starts from the real peak: session duration and busy periods.

What is the noise level of the unit in operation?

The unit is sized to remain discreet in continuous operation; the remote configuration further allows it to be kept away from guest areas if needed.

Water treatment & compliance

How does Rocean treat the water?

Multi-stage treatment including UV and controlled routines, automatically orchestrated for consistent water quality and hygiene with less manual intervention. pH and chlorine are managed end-to-end.

Why does sanitation automation matter under high throughput?

Beyond approximately thirty to fifty guest cycles per day, manual water management becomes the bottleneck. Automated purification — multi-stage UV pathways, controlled cycles — maintains clarity and frees up time at the front desk.

Does the water treatment meet ERP requirements?

Pro ERP configurations are designed for this use case, with water quality monitoring adapted to public-access establishments. The regulatory detail depends on the site and must be validated with your inspection authority.

Operations & maintenance

Which functions can be automated?

Temperature regulation, filtration cycles, water treatment sequences, and operational monitoring — to remove repetitive manual workload from the team.

Can the units be monitored remotely?

Yes. Remote operational visibility and supervised automation, with on-site maintenance significantly reduced compared to manually managed installations.

Can a professional cold plunge operate in unmanned access mode?

Yes, provided sufficient automation is in place: water treatment, water level, renewal, temperature display, operational safety, and simplified maintenance.

Why does the cold unit layout affect uptime?

An inaccessible unit or one buried in a monobloc housing extends every stoppage and labour cost. Preserving technician access, ventilation, and modular exchange reduces downtime. Integrated 1.5 kW classes and more powerful remote configurations balance accessibility with architectural constraints.

What technical support is available after commissioning?

The Rocean team remains the point of contact for operational questions, with remote supervision according to the contract and maintenance guidelines adapted to the site's throughput. Commitment details are set out in each installation contract.

Customisation & architecture

Can Rocean be integrated into a bespoke architectural basin?

Yes. Rocean supplies thermal and filtration cores as 'systems only' for architect-designed vessels, pre-assembled and ready to connect.

Can the bath be customised?

Yes: colour, finishes, logo, integration, and certain technical elements can be adapted to the project.

Do you work directly with architects and design offices?

Yes. Specification is handled directly with the project team, from execution drawings through to commissioning.

What finishes are available?

Shell colour, external cladding, and logo can be adapted to the project; technical constraints are validated in advance with our team.

Pricing, lead times & financing

Does Rocean sell direct or through distributors?

Direct to project owners, architects, and operators, so that specification, commissioning, and support remain consistent.
